You must open an eligible NWCU checking account (Northwest Checking, Northwest Secure Checking, Executive Checking, Essential Checking, or Northwest Passage Checking account) between July 13 and September 13, 2022. The minimum opening deposit to open an Executive Checking account is $100 and $40 for all other checking accounts.
To receive $200, you must meet the following requirements in your eligible NWCU checking account within 60 days of account opening: 1. Make a minimum of 5 settled debit card purchases, and 2. Make total qualifying deposits of $250 or more. The cash bonus will be deposited into your NWCU checking account within 90 calendar days after you complete all required activities and may be reported on Form 1099. Your account must be open and in good standing when the bonus is credited to your account. Employees of Northwest Community Credit Union are not eligible for this offer.
Qualifying Deposit: Deposits via ACH or in person from an employer, payroll, or benefits provider. Deposits that are not from an employer such as check deposits, P2P transfers (eg., Paypal, Venmo, etc.), merchant transactions such as from PayPal, Stripe, Square, etc.; and ACH transfers not from employers do not qualify for this promotion.
The Annual Percentage Yield (APY) for Northwest Checking and Northwest Secure Checking account is 0.25% for balances of $0.01- $5000 when transaction qualifications (Ten (10) settled debit card transactions and active enrollment in eStatements) are met. The Executive Checking account APY is 0.50%. Rates effective June 1, 2022. The Interest Rate and APY may change after the account is open.
